Biography

After completing my M.S. degree (Thesis: Assessment of AFLP-based genetic variation in three native plant species across the state of Minnesota), I worked in the UMN Department of Agronomy doing outreach and research, primarily in organic agriculture. In 2017, I moved to the Department of Horticulture to work with the Turfgrass Science team on projects that include low input turf, lawn water conservation and roadside turf.

Outreach

Recent outreach includes our Watering Wisdom webinar series turf.umn.edu/watering-wisdom as part of our Twin Cities Lawn Irrigation Efficiency Study. Other outreach includes planting and maintaining a bee lawn with UMN Extension.
