Biography
Michael is a Master's student in the Applied Plant Sciences program. He earned a B.S. in Plant Science from the University of Minnesota. He is currently working on the development of a program to quantify potato tuber traits including size, color, bruising, and disease using image analysis, as well as applying the quantitative trait data from this program to genomic selection in the University potato breeding program.
