Biography
I am primarily interested in invasion ecology. Specifically, what makes an invasive plant become invasive in the first place? What traits allow it to be the lucky 1-in-1000 non-native plants to become invasive? Do new invasives follow the Enemy Release Hypothesis and the Novel Weapons Hypothesis?
I tackle these kinds of questions with conservation and restoration in mind.
