Biography

Elizabeth Goodman works as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Horticultural Science, co-advised by Dr. Neil Anderson and Dr. Cindy Tong. She is currently studying perennial flax production and post-harvest care for a state-funded grant program involving several local industry stakeholders. She intends on completing a dual-focus Ph.D. program in the Applied Plant Sciences program, studying both horticultural science and agroecology. Her research interests include organic horticultural production systems, regenerative agroecosystem design, and production of beneficial, medicinal, edible, and perennial crops.
