Monday, June 8th - Friday, July 31st

This completely online 4-credit course counts as the liberal education - biology with a lab credit. During the 8 weeks, you will learn how to propagate plants at home using produce from the grocery store and stem cuttings from the landscape around your neighborhood. You will learn about the parts of a plant and apply that knowledge to nature observations.

Students enrolled in the course will participate in group discussions, gain experience writing lab reports, and acquire valuable plant propagation skills that will help them beyond the summer. Students will be able to fit all the lessons and assignments into their schedules because there is no meeting time; it’s all asynchronous!
