
The Department of Horticultural Science is thrilled to welcome Dr. Mike Wilson as our newest Teaching Specialist!
Dr. Wilson graduated with his PhD in Plant Biological Sciences from the University of Minnesota in 2014, where he studied the chemical ecology of plant resins collected by honeybees. Since 2018, Dr. Wilson has taught and developed curricula for everything biology at Minnesota State Colleges including introductory biology, environmental science, and microbiology.
This fall Dr. Wilson will be teaching HORT 1001 – Plant Propagation and HORT 3131 – Student Organic Farm: Planning, Growing, and Marketing. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Wilson to the department!
