I received my B.S. from Texas Tech University in Natural Resource Management in 2015 with a concentration in range management. I then spent some time working for Texas A&M AgriLife in their weed science department. I enjoy studying both grasses and weeds equally and am very excited to be assisting Dr. Smith in his knotweed research project. We will be identifying the location of knotweed populations in Minnesota, the threat(s) they could potentially pose to natives, and delineating how each of the taxa are spreading.
