My main professional in interest is in my research. My thesis project currently focuses on dynamic metabolic flux analysis (dMFA) of three Brassica rapa morphotypes (Chinese cabbage, turnip, and Polish canola). I also hope to be able to be involved in partnerships with industry where I think that this kind of basic research can go a long way towards bridging knowledge gaps in plant biotechnology.
I have yet to have my first teaching experience, but I also hope to be involved in undergraduate education. I have been preparing for my first teaching position through the preparing future faculty class: Teaching in Higher Education
